CHEENA-TOWN!

On the 8th of July,
the bunch of us went to, you guessed it!
Chinatown of Brisbane.

Number 1,
it's so freaking SMALL!
It's only like 2 streets?
-__-"' *wth*

Number 2, this is a good one.
THERE ARE DIM SUMS!!!!
So freaking happy lah.
Finally something somewhat authentic.

This is the resturant we visited.
All of us were so hungry, we just rushed to get
food before anything else.

From left to right:
*blur*Ernest, *OH!*Nicole,
-hmmm.. mr dumpling.-Gerri.

From left to right:
-FOOD? *quickly turns head*- Zeya,
-FOOD!!! *HAPPIE*-Sze Ho,
-Is there any more?- Marcus.

The resturant was so crowded, we actually waited
for like 30 to 45 minutes before being seated.
Look at the amt of people!!!

The queue just wouldn't end.

Actually while we were being shown to the table,
the following senario happened:

Waitress: What kind of tea would you like?

Me: 7 people.

Waitress: *kinda pissed* What kind of TEA would you like?

Me: Sorry, we still need one more chair.

Waitress: *wth is wrong with this person?*
WHAT kind of TEA would you LIKE?

Me: OH! Sorry, pu er tea please.

*waitress walks off in extreme anger*

-Ears got BIG problem-me decided to be
retarded that morning. ARGH!!!..

A big ass photo of me there:

I was freaking happy to see the dumplings..
makes me think of the dim sums, i usually eat
with dad, mum and sis back in m'sia.

Once the food started to occupy the table,
the feast began...

Everyone just dug into the food like beggars.
And ernest was so desperate for Char Siew Buns,
he keep looking left and right, for the dim sum trolleys,
and asking each and every one of the ladies that pushed them,
until after like 30-45 mintues of agony, pain, patience..
he finally managed to grab hold of a cage of the buns!!!
See him smile like there is no tomorrow...

Look at the aftermath:
A table of plates, cups, chopsticks.
7 very full-hungry ghosts.

After which, we took a walk around the 2 streets,

This fountain is actually surrounded by 12 labels,
labels of the 12 zodiacs.

And we found ours'!!!
The dragon!

Besides all these structures,
there was a market too..
Mostly girls stuff, but there were collector's
comic magazines like from marvel.
Very cool, and not cheap too.
Guess what we saw too???

When i saw it i was, LOL!!!
The last photo of the day, a beautiful sunset.

Overall, it was an enjoyable trip for myself,
and my tummy. hehe.
Take care people.

RANDOM!!

As demanded requested by Nicole...
Here is the weird quiz that she wants me to do.

Rules:
Each player of the game starts off by giving 6
weird things about themselves. People who get
tagged needs to write in a blog of their own 6
weird things as well as state the rules clearly.
In the end, you'll need to choose 6 people to be
tagged and list their names.

1) To sleep, I just need to close my eyes for a minute.

2) You can make me panic anytime with just a small
problem. anytime.

3) I can't stand walking with friends and not talking.

4) I must have at least one meal per day that is spicy.

5) I instantly start talking to myself once i'm alone.

6) I can just sleep on my own desk, blogging half..

........................................................................

........................................................................

............

GOTCHA!
No? damn.

The 6 people i chosen to TAG!:
1) Carine
2) Sujith
3) Huda
4) Kenneth
5) Mizeal
*in no order of preference.

F.O.O.D.
At brisbane, there are still the ever popular Mac's,
KFC, Hungry Jacks(Burger King).
But have you heard of BOOST?

Boost is actually a health drink shop selling healthy,
delicious, tasty smoothies with fruits, yogurt and
for some, chocolate.

Here's their say:-
"At Boost, we have a pretty simple philosophy:
yummy, healthy stuff made with quality ingredients,
prepared fresh in front of you." - BOOST (tm)

I like their raspberry ripe chocolate which consists of
raspberries, coconut milk, low fat milk, TD5 strawberry
yoghurt, sorbet & ice. It tastes excellent.

With such a big cup for about $6 in australia,
you can just treat it like a meal. It's very filling.

And i've heard there is one at VivoCity in singapore.
And they are opening one at OUB centre soon.
Check out their website:
For Australia - HERE
For Singapore - HERE

I love OPORTO too!
Oporto is just like fast food,
but delicious fast food.

I simply cannot resist their chilli sauce.
It's freaking SPICY!
And their chicken are flame-grilled like Burger King,
as BK claims, done in the portuguese fashion, it's
orgasmic with the famous chilli of theirs.
Pray they open in singapore too.

On the 9th July (Mon) morning,
ducks took a swim in our hostel swimming
pool, macham in the wild like that sia.

Also, what can happen when 4 guys live in the
same apartment?
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Fill up the whole fridge with food? yes.

And maybe fill one whole shelf with can drinks?
Should be no problem.

What about filling the whole shelf above the fridge
with canned soup? possible.

Build a fort of canned soup? with some work, yes.

What about building a BIGGER fort together with
can drinks? Are you SERIOUS??!!

We had so much fun playing around with the cans.
Imagine:
The Lord of the Cans:- The Stack-Up!
Starring:
Ernest as Frodo, Kelvin as Sam,
Zeya as Gandalf the Black, Marcus as Saruman.
Classic.

Well. So much for the random-ness in this post.
